Originally from St. Louis Missouri, Timothy lives 40 minutes west of Phoenix Arizona with his wife Ingrid and Toby, his 14 year old Pomeranian. His 35 year nursing career has provided many life changing opportunities along with a deep appreciation for life.
Timothy began writing poetry reflective of his bedside experience shortly after caring for patients on ventilators. Several of his poems were featured in hospital newsletters and social media sites. “The Events in a Day in the Life of a Nurse” was published in the July 2001 issue of the RN magazine. You can read more of Timothy’s poems on his website. He also invites you to listen to his tribute to the Vietnam Memorial Wall on YouTube called Dark Marble Wall.
Timothy developed a real passion for helping people with life altering illnesses. He was presented with a prestigious Stevie’s Award after raising money to purchase much needed medical equipment for one of his patients in 2022. His passion for helping people extended well beyond his nursing career. After visiting Cuba, he helped a couple escape the communistic regime and migrate to the United States. Abdul and Lucy live in Florida and are in the process of becoming United States citizens.
Timothy and Ingrid share a real passion for traveling abroad and have been in every state except Idaho, Montana and North Dakota. To date they have completed 61 cruises and #62 will be out of Venice in May 2027.
In 1994 they spent 6 weeks exploring the Baja Peninsula from San Deigo to Cabo San Lucas.
Pristine beaches, huge cactus and dark starry nights were awesome.
Everyone they encountered along the way were very welcoming!
Together they have walked on the Great Wall of China, celebrated New Year’s Eve in Sydney Harbor, walked down into the pyramids of Egypt, skipped stones across the Sea of Galilee in Isreal, visited the renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site in Ephesus Turkey, toured Vatican City in Rome, the prestigious La Sagrada Família church in Barcelona Spain and enjoyed the cherry blossoms in Japan.
Book 1 of Sister, It’s Complicated is now available on Amazon.
Book 2 is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2026.
Book 3 will follow in the Spring of 2027 with a potential for a final Book 4 in the Spring of 2028.
Ingrid says the novel is a fun beach read and hopes everyone enjoys it for its simple yet intriguing story.
It is Timothy’s desire to keep you the reader engaged and turning the page.
